SACRAMENTAL PREPARATION

At St. Thomas More, the First Communion (and First Confession) program(s) are seperate from "regular" religious education.  Sacramental preparation is open to all members of the St. Thomas More Parish community and includes children who attend St. Thomas More School and St. Thomas More Family Faith.

First Communion is generally received in second grade (provided your child has been enrolled (and attended) family faith or attended St. Thomas More Catholic school for two consecutive years.  

Families who register for Family Faith or STM Catholic School for the  2024/25 year will be contacted for a brief in-person family meeting to discuss schedule and expectations. These meeting will take place in July and August.

For the 2024/25 program year:
First Confessions will be January 18, 21 &  25
First Communions will be May 10/11, 17/18 & 24/25
