First Eucharist -
The Eucharist really is the body, blood, soul, and divinity of Jesus Christ.
This is not just a symbol.
In the Sacrament, the very essence or substance of the bread and wine is completely changed, because the Eucharist is Christ Himself. -

FIRST EUCHARIST
FOR CHILDRENIs typically celebrated in 2nd grade, but can be any grade -Preparation begins in the spring AFTER First Reconciliation (Confession) and is seperate from regular family faith or catholic school religion class.
Before a child enters preparation for First Reconciliation and First Eucharist, they must complete religious education (Family Formation) or Catholic school for Grade 1(or one full year if older).
For the 2024/25 program year:
First Communions will be May 10/11, 17/18 & 24/25
