The sealing of the Holy Spirit in Confirmation is the final sacrament of initiation into the Catholic Church.  If, for whatever reason, you have not yet received this powerful sacrament, we encourage you to do so!  We usually celebrate Confirmation at St. Thomas More two times a year, in the fall when Bishop Malloy comes to Confirm and then again in the spring during the Easter Vigil.  We try to work with our adults seeking Confirmation one on one when possible.  Give us a call to discuss.  Here are a few requirements;

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Have already received the sacraments of Baptism and Holy Communion in the Catholic Church.
• If you are currently married, or have ever been married before, please read the Marital Status Information document below.  
• You will need a recently issued copy of your Baptism certificate dated within 6 months.  You will obtain that by contacting the church at which you were Baptized, notifying them you are a candidate for Confirmation, and need a copy of the Baptism certificate.  Have our mailing address with you in the event they want to send the certificate directly to us.  You do not need this document to begin meeting with us.
